The brief

A car enthusiast wanted the garage to feel like an extension of the home — a seamless, high-impact floor that could handle hot tyres, oil and tools.

The challenge

Metallic epoxy is unforgiving of preparation shortcuts. The slab had to be mechanically opened and moisture-checked so the coating bonded flawlessly and the metallic flow read evenly.

The process

How it came together.

01

Assess

Moisture-tested the slab and diamond-ground the surface to a clean, keyed profile.

02

Prime

Applied a moisture-tolerant primer to lock the coating to the concrete.

03

Pour

Hand-worked the metallic base and pigments to create depth and movement.

04

Seal

Top-coated with a hard-wearing clear for chemical and abrasion resistance.
